Andreas Cornelius, footballer

Andreas Cornelius (born March 16, 1993) is a Danish striker who plays for FC Copenhagen. Cornelius made his debut for FC Copenhagen's first team in 2012, and was in his debut season responsible of 18 goals in 34 matches before he in 2013 transferred to Cardiff City in the Premier League for a record amount. After an injury-troubled period in Cardiff, the striker signed a 5-year contract with FC Copenhagen in January 2014.

Thomas Kahlenberg, footballer

Thomas Kahlenberg (born March 20, 1983) plays for Brøndby IF. Kahlenberg has an impressive CV that counts 130 appearances for French Auxerre, stays in VfL Wolfsburg and Evian TG, and not least a large number of matches in the Danish national team jersey. In 2013 the attacking midfielder returned to his youth club, Brøndby IF, for which, since 2014, he has worn the captain's armband.

Daniel Agger, footballer

Daniel Agger (born December 12, 1984) completed in 2016 a football career that speaks for itself. The towering central defender made his debut in the summer of 2004 for Brøndby IF’s first team, for which he made 34 appearances. In January 2006, he signed a 4 1/4-year contract with English Liverpool, in a transfer which at the time was the highest in Danish Super League history. Eight and a half seasons, 232 matches, the national team captain played for the Premier League-club, before he in 2014 turned back to Vestegnen, where he in the summer of 2016 ended his great career.

Lars Olsen, National Team Coach

Lars Olsen (born February 2, 1961) represented in his active career Brøndby IF, Trabzonspor, RFC Seraing and FC Basel. He was in 1988 named footballer of the year in Denmark, and in 2006, Olsen could add another distinction to his collection, the title of best football coach in Denmark. An honor he received when he was in charge of Randers FC, which, after a number of successful seasons he left for Odense Football Club in 2007. Since 2011, Olsen has trained The Faroe Islands National Team, with which he has a contract to 2020.
